Emissions Trading: The Swiss Registry is online
Bern, 21.01.2011 - The Swiss Emissions Trading Registry remains open for transactions during business hours.
Due to the recent attacks against several European Emissions Trading Registries the European Commission has suspended emissions trading for the next days. The European Union Allowances (EUA), which were in the focus of recent attacks, cannot be traded in the Swiss Emissions Trading Registry. The Swiss Registry stays online: Transactions are possible during business hours. As a precautionary measure transactions outside business hours are no longer accepted. The authorities in charge are permanently assessing the situation.
