Producer and Import Price Index in March 2014 – Prices overall stable in comparison with previous month, price level 0.7% lower year-on-year
Neuchâtel, 15.04.2014 - (FSO) - The Producer and Import Price Index calculated by the Federal Statistical Office (FSO) remained stable in March 2014 compared with the previous month. Whereas the producer price index also remained unchanged, an increase of 0.1% was observed for imported products; agricultural products and petroleum products in particular were sold at higher prices. The index stands at 97.8 points (base December 2010 = 100). Year-on-year, a price decline of 0.7% was observed.
