Producer and Import Price Index in March 2015 – Rising index due to higher petroleum product prices; year-on-year inflation -3.4%
Neuchâtel, 16.04.2015 - (FSO) - The Producer and Import Price Index calculated by the Federal Statistical Office (FSO) increased in March 2015 by 0.2% compared with the previous month, reaching 94.4 points (base December 2010 = 100). The rise is almost exclusively due to higher prices for petroleum and petroleum products. The price level of the whole range of domestic and imported products dropped by 3.4% year-on-year.
