Efficiency thanks to the latest methods

With the eGovernment award, the jury has recognised the federal geoportal geo.admin.ch as a groundbreaking project in the German-speaking countries. An eGovernment Switzerland priority project

The authorities in turn are charged with updating their business processes and interacting with one another electronically. The exchange of geodata is greatly facilitated through geo.admin.ch. The federal geoportal is developed and maintained by the Federal Office of Topography swisstopo on behalf of the coordinating agency for federal geographical information to implement the Geoinformation Act.
