Statistics on health care provision in hospitals 2014: Provisional figures – Costs in outpatient services show faster growth
Neuchâtel, 26.11.2015 - (FSO) – In 2014 there were 16.8 million outpatient consultations and 1.4 million inpatient stays in Swiss hospitals. Outpatient services showed faster cost growth than inpatient services, a trend that has emerged over the past five years. Medical imaging equipment is mainly used in outpatient services. These are the results of the Hospital Statistics from the Federal Statistical Office (FSO).
