Collective wage agreements for 2012 – Rise of 1.1% for real wages and 1.4% for minimum wages

Neuchâtel, 25.07.2012 - (FSO) – According to the latest information published by the Federal Statistical Office (FSO), the social partners signatory to the main collective labour agreements (CLA) have agreed a nominal rise in real wages of 1.1% for 2012, of which 0.7% is to be awarded collectively and 0.4% at individual level. Minimum wages were increased by 1.4%. Roughly 1,001,000 employees were affected by the wage negotiations.
