Factsheet: Interfaces for News Service Bund
This overview is intended for experts who already obtain news via interfaces from the News Service Bund or wish to do so in the future. The existing interfaces will remain available as usual for the time being, but will eventually be replaced by the new interfaces.

With the introduction of the new News Service Bund, new REST interfaces are now available for accessing news. The existing RSS and export interfaces will continue to be maintained for the time being.
For both interfaces for news access, all news items are considered, regardless of whether they were created before or after the introduction of the new News Service Bund. The metadata has been updated with the introduction, but they are linked in the background to ensure searches continue to yield the desired results.
Important: For search queries, the correct parameters must be used. This means that the IDs known from the RSS and export interfaces cannot be used directly in the REST interfaces.
The following tables provide an overview of the different interfaces and how they must be used.
Request Metadata
To make optimal use of the search, one must know the relevant metadata for organizations and topics. The following interfaces allow you to access this metadata and use it in search queries.
Organizations
Topics
Request News
Using the metadata for organizations/topics and additional parameters such as start and end dates, news can be searched (News List) and subsequently loaded in detail (News Details).
