Switzerland to sign research agreement on new generation nuclear reactors

Bern, 13.4.2005 - The Federal Council has decided to sign the Framework Agreement for International Collaboration on Research and Development of Generation IV Nuclear Energy Systems. Switzerland’s accession to the Agreement provides the Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI) with the opportunity to play an active part in this international research project to develop innovative nuclear reactors for the production of energy.
