Official working visit by President Alvaro Uribe of Colombia

Bern, 23.1.2008 - Federal Councillor Micheline Calmy-Rey, head of the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs, received Mr Alvaro Uribe, President of the Republic of Colombia, for official talks on Wednesday evening in Zurich. Their discussions focused on the issue of the hostages taken by the FARC.
