Closer collaboration between Swissmedic and the Singapore therapeutic products authorities
Bern, 13.5.2008 - As mandated by the Swiss Federal Council, the deputy Swiss Ambassador Rolf Frei and the Director of the Singapore Health Sciences Authority (HSA), Dr. John C. W. Lim, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) relating to therapeutic products in Singapore yesterday (Monday 12 April 2008). Within the framework of this agreement, it was decided that the therapeutic products authorities of the two countries – Swissmedic, Swiss Agency for Therapeutic Products, and the Health Sciences Authority - would collaborated more closely. The MoU encompasses both medicinal products and medical devices.
