Dangerous side effects of the illegal slimming product "Zhen de Shou"
Bern, 12.12.2008 - Swissmedic, the Swiss Agency for Therapeutic Products, is issuing a warning regarding the dangerous side effects of the slimming product "Zhen de Shou Fat Loss Capsules". According to a communication from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the product was placed on the US market illegally (it is a non-authorized medicinal product), and is sold via the Internet. It contains the extremely strong active substance Sibutramin, for which a prescription is mandatory.
