Switzerland concludes its bilateral negotiations with the Russian Federation, candidate country for accession to the WTO

Berne, 27.1.2006 - Federal Councillor Joseph Deiss, head of the Federal Department of Economic Affairs and German Gref, the Russian Minister of Economic Development and Trade, have signed an agreement on market access for goods and services between Switzerland and the Russian Federation. This agreement, signed on the fringes of the WEF Annual Meeting in Davos, concludes the bilateral negotiations between the two countries in view of Russia's ongoing accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO).
