No FM frequencies for Radio 105 Network
Biel-Bienne, 1.12.1999 - The Federal Council rejects the wireless broadcasting option Switzerland lacks FM frequencies, even for broadcasting radio programmes on the level of the linguistic regions. As a result, the Federal Council rejected an application from Radio 105 Network to air their programmes by terrestrial frequency-based means. As before, this programme, which aims at a public of young people, will only be available by cable.
