Success of the operation to reorganise mobile telephone frequencies
Biel/Bienne, 18.8.2014 - Operators did not encounter any major problems during the exchange of frequencies on the mobile network. The work took place at night, as planned, between 21 July and 16 August. The preparations made jointly by Swisscom, Orange and Sunrise with the support of the Federal Office of Communications (OFCOM) meant that disruption was limited to a few brief interruptions on the network at times of low usage.
