CTI Swiss Medtech Award 2014: Using ultra sound instead of catheters
Berne, 2.9.2014 - The company Veinpress GmbH won the CTI Swiss Medtech Award of CHF 10 000 at the CTI Medtech Events in the Kursaal in Bern today. The company was awarded the prize for the joint development with the ETH Zurich of a novel method for measuring central venous pressure, without having to insert a catheter. The prize of the Commission for Technology and Innovation CTI was awarded to one of the three projects, which were nominated for the first time through live voting by the experts present.
