Introduction of the new universal radio and television fee

Biel/Bienne, 23.10.2018 - From 1 January 2019, the new universal radio and television fee will replace the previous reception fee. In the case of households, the fee will be collected by the new collection agency Serafe, which replaces Billag. In 2019, invoicing will take place in two stages, so that from 2020 the sending of invoices can be spread evenly throughout the calendar year as before. For companies the fee will be collected by the Federal Tax Administration (FTA).
