Measures to combat the coronavirus: ban also applies to ski resorts
Bern, 14.3.2020 - At its meeting on 13 March 2020 the Swiss Federal Council resolved additional measures to curb the spread of the coronavirus in Switzerland and safeguard members of the public and the healthcare system. Given that the consequences of Ordinance 2 on measures to combat the coronavirus (COVID-19) for ski resorts were interpreted differently by the cantons, the Federal Office of Public Health is emphasising that the measures resolved also apply to leisure operations such as ski resorts.
