Switzerland organises election of International Humanitarian Fact-Finding Commission members
Bern, 19.11.2021 - On 19 November 2021, Switzerland presided the election of the members of the International Humanitarian Fact-Finding Commission (IHFFC). Established under Additional Protocol I to the Geneva Conventions, the IHFFC is the only permanent international treaty-based body mandated to respond to incidents relating to international humanitarian law. Switzerland runs the secretariat of the IHFFC.
