15 new professors appointed at ETH Zurich and EPFL
Berne/Zurich, 19.5.2022 - At its meeting of 18/19 May 2022 and upon application of the President of ETH Zurich, Professor Joël Mesot, and the President of EPFL, Professor Martin Vetterli, the ETH Board appointed a total of 6 women and 9 men as professors and awarded the title of professor to 7 individuals. It also took note of the resignations of 20 professors and thanked them for their services. In the last 12 months, the ETH Board has made a total of 31 new appointments for women and 32 for men; the proportion of women among these new appointments amounts to 49%.
