Confederation recognises extraordinary nature of June 2021 US–Russia summit
Bern, 16.11.2022 - At its meeting on 16 November 2022, the Federal Council decided to consider the meeting of the Russian and American heads of state in Geneva on 16 June 2021 an 'extraordinary event' under the Federal Act on Measures to Safeguard Internal Security. This means that the Confederation will cover part of the costs of ensuring the security of the summit and its participants.
