Neuchâtel, 10.01.2013 - Neuchâtel, 10.01.2013 (FSO) - In 2009, one year after graduation, graduates from an institution of higher education with a degree in a MINT field were better integrated in the labour market than graduates from other fields. Among MINT personnel, the unemployment rate based on ILO definition was 3.8% compared with 5.5% among graduates from other fields. MINT graduates were also more often in management positions (MINT total: 24%; other fields: 16.6%). These are the results of a study conducted by the Federal Statistical Office (FSO) on the integration in the labour market of graduates from an institution of higher education.
